RiverKeeper Event

Reflo will be at the 1st & Lincoln Cleanup at Baran Park (2600 S. Chase Ave.) We provide the bags, gloves, and FREE T-SHIRTS and YOU provide the hands and energy to pick up trash, litter, and the interesting and sometimes bizarre pieces of garbage that find their way into our beautiful river system. Grab a garbage bag and let's clean some river!

Volunteers should check-in between 8:30-9am. Please wear closed toed shoes and dress for the weather.

Also, be sure to join us for the trash bash following the cleanup from 12-2pm as we celebrate the success of the cleanup with drinks, food, raffle prizes, and more!

Translator Lab: Milwaukee's Reflo & Sustainable Water Use

Justin Hagerty, Executive Director of Reflo, joins Translator Lab to discuss the mission and scope of his organization: to become a leader in sustainable water use, green infrastructure and water management in urban environments.

The conversation at Lab will showcase a few Reflo projects and facilitate discussion around community engagement with meaningful green infrastructure projects. Doors open at 8:00am. Grab a Translator mug and get caffeinated. Take a seat on one of the couches or chairs and breathe a sigh of relief: you made it and are about to engage in some lively conversation. Lab will begin around 8:15am and will wrap up around 10am.

Come to Lab. Get Caffeinated. Leave Inspired.
