The Outdoor Discovery Cart, designed in partnership with Reflo and Milwaukee Public School (MPS) High School interns, is a mobile cart that supports schoolyard maintenance and outdoor curricular activities at local schools. The cart is outfitted with tools and supplies useful for tending school garden beds and native planting areas with the goal of promoting environmental stewardship in students. Outdoor education supplies such as whiteboard clipboards, science tool kits with a variety of observational tools, and starter activity plans are included to facilitate outdoor learning with dedicated supplies available to use when conducting lessons outside of the traditional classroom.

Includes: hand-crafted cart, four fully stocked activity bins (two large bins and two small bins included with the option to purchase additional activity kits separately), laminated equipment lists, lesson plan ideas, 4’ adjustable table, retractable side table, lock, delivery within the Milwaukee-area, and one-on-one in-person demonstration at delivery (shipping and handling outside of southeastern Wisconsin not included).

Note that the Outdoor Discovery Carts are built by hand in our workshop in Milwaukee. We make a limited number of carts each year and orders are served as they come in. Depending on availability and the wait list, the wait time may be months to over a year. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Reflo when they are interested and then when they are ready to purchase in order to reserve a spot on the order list.
