Application Window to Open Fall 2025

Applications will be reviewed at the end of October 2025 and each school will receive a response to their application.

Selected schools will be invited to share their need and enthusiasm for a greener, healthier schoolyard with a large panel of representatives from the Green Schools Consortium of Milwaukee (GSCM) at a School Selection Event in mid-November (date and location TBD). Through an equity-based, democratic process, the panel votes and 5 schools are selected each year to start the redevelopment journey in January 2026.
