Wedgewood Park International School and Honey Creek Elementary, located in the Menomonee River Watershed and the city's Separated Sewer System, have been awarded a schoolyard redevelopment planning grant to develop a common vision for a greener, healthier schoolyard. The schools and surrounding neighborhood community will work collaboratively with support from project partners to develop a conceptual plan to include new green spaces that manage stormwater, provide improved recreation and education opportunities, and inspire students to take care of the environment throughout 2025.
